SMS terms

Effective August 18, 2026 · Version 2

What these messages are

Practices that use EndpointEMR can send appointment-related text messages to their clients through the platform: appointment reminders and confirmations, waitlist openings, review requests and account notifications. Messages come from your practice, about your care with them; EndpointEMR does not send marketing of its own to patients, and phone numbers are never sold or shared for advertising.

Consent

You receive texts only if you gave your phone number to a practice and agreed to be contacted by text — by checking the SMS consent box on the practice's online booking page or by telling the practice directly — and your practice records that consent. Agreeing to texts is never a condition of receiving treatment or of purchasing anything.

Your information

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with, or sold to, any third parties, excluding the aggregators and providers of the text messaging service necessary to deliver the messages themselves. See our full privacy policy at endpointemr.com/privacy.

Opting out

Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts from that practice. You will receive one final message confirming the opt-out, and nothing further. You can opt back in by replying START, or by telling your practice.

Help

Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact your practice directly using the number on their booking page. For issues with the platform itself, email support@endpointemr.com.

Frequency and rates

Message frequency varies with your appointments: a typical client receives a small number of messages around each visit. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
